A strong "Miller A" type winter storm will be the focus of our discussion. Much like our storm in November (Miller A) a deepening low pressure system will develop in the southern United State and make its way up along the east coast. This weekend will also bring a shortwave overnight Saturday which will bring a few inches of snow. However, this will allow for Canadian airmass to funnel cold air into the Mid Atlantic giving Sunday to Monday the best setup for an all snow event.
While model guidance is and has been pretty consistent with this system but there are still possibilities of slight shifts in track that exist. As it stands right now NEPA will see the bulk of the snowfall, in particular the Poconos.
Between 12pm-2pm Sunday Afternoon from SW to NE
Between: 4am-6am Monday Morning from SW to NE
Use Google Maps to zoom/click on your area to see your forecasted snowfall amount.
Final Call will be issued Saturday 3/2/19 at 1pm. A livecast from Eric or Manny.
