First Call: Winter Storm Tuesday 1/29/2019

Synopsis:

A low pressure system presently north of the Dakota's will make its way around the Arctic trough axis and impact our region Tuesday. The primary low will cross to our north before transferring to the coast, thus increasing its energy and making for a more robust system than a typical clipper.

Tentative timing:

Start: Early Tuesday morning between 2-4am

End: Tuesday evening between 7-9pm

Tentative Impacts:

- Commute on Tuesday AM and PM will be impacted
- Periods of heavy snowfall may occur during early afternoon Tuesday
- Expect travel delays, possibly school closings etc
